Weston-under-Redcastle is a small picturesque village and civil parish set in a conservation area in the County of Shropshire, England.
The village of Weston under Redcastle is located approximately midway between Shrewsbury and Whitchurch just off the A49. The village itself dates back beyond Roman times and contains several Grade 1 listed buildings with St Lukes Church built of the local red sandstone lying at its centre
Situated under the southwest edge of the Hawkstone Ridge and overlooked by the remains of the Red Castle, from which it gets its name, the village is also home to Hawkstone Park Hotel, which has two golf courses and the award-winning Hawkstone Park Follies lying in historic parkland.
Other nearby attractions are the Grade 1 Hawkstone Hall Hotel and Gardens (accessed through the village), the Citadel Wedding Venue with its spectacular views over the Grade 1 historic landscape, and Hawkstone Park internationally recognised Moto Cross Circuit Recorded in the Domesday Book as having 21 households in 1086 this has risen to circa 140 households today.
